The Center for the Americas at Vanderbilt is offering seed-funding opportunities for faculty in the humanities and social sciences who specialize in the Americas.
The funding is available to Vanderbilt faculty for individual research projects or research collaborations. Faculty may apply for the awards in the following ways:
- Propose a CFA campus research incubator. Funding: $1,000 for meeting expenses;
- Propose a CFA U.S. or international research incubator. Funding: $10,000 for travel and related expenses;
- Apply for a CFA work group. Funding: up to $150,000;
- Propose a topic for a CFA faculty seminar. Funding: up to $56,000, depending on the size of the seminar. Deadline is April 16;
- Propose a topic for a CFA publication colloquium. Funding: up to $50,000. Deadlines are April 30, Sept. 3 and Nov. 30.
