Frist Global Health Scholars

Hope Through Healing Hands sponsors students from select Tennessee institutions to travel to underserved areas for service and training projects. Students from Vanderbilt School of Medicine, Vanderbilt School of Nursing, Meharry Medical College, and East Tennessee State University are eligible for this program.

Global Service Corps

The Global Service Corps facilitates volunteer, internship, and fellowship programs for college students, medical students, and physicians alike. Volunteers are placed in either Tanzania or Thailand.

International Health Committee

The International Health Committee is a student-driven organization in the School of Medicine, but a main strength is the significant involvement of Vanderbilt faculty with interest, experience, and connections in the realm of international health.

Emphasis

Vanderbilt Medical Students may choose global health as the focus of their Emphasis Project.

Medical Scholars

The Vanderbilt University Medical Scholars Program is a one-year, in-depth research experience for Vanderbilt medical students.
